Our curriculum intent:

Here at Old Park Primary, we are learning how to listen, speak, read and write in French and give children the opportunity to experience the different culture through art and music. French is taught weekly in KS2 through the Primary Languages Network scheme of work which allows for a clear progressive curriculum. Through the years, children return, revisit and re-use prior knowledge.

We aim to make learning French memorable and fun through exciting, interactive activities as well as a wide variety of topics and themes. We want our children to feel enthused and become lifelong language learners so that they have a deeper understanding of other cultures and the world around them.
